Front Porch

Nestle into a wicker rocker and catch up on some reading or chat with other guests. You'll love the spaciousness of one of the best porches in Cape May.

Breakfast Porch

Begin your day with some of Karsten's great coffee. Trade stories with other guests about where you dined last night...or what adventures you have planned for the day ahead - all the while feasting on wonderful breakfast fare. Don't forget to ask Anita to share her recipe for Habit Forming Cinnamon Buns. Everything is delicious because the veggies come from Anita and Karsten’s organic garden nearby.

 

Herb Garden

Over 20 herbs growing in this garden. Thyme, lavender, sage, three kinds of basil, cilantro... and rosemary - for remembrance.

Foyer

Arrival at The Manse ... walking into the foyer, you feel as if you have come home. The grandfather clock seems to welcome you with its' stately, steady chimes.

Parlor

On weekends you'll be summoned to breakfast with the sounds of the player piano. Take a few moments to visit the parlor and see our family pictures.

Living Room

Summer breezes flutter the lace curtains at the window. Winter winds bring you in from the cold to a roaring fire in the fireplace. Relax in our living room and read about the history of Cape May.

Dining Room

When weather does not permit dining on the wrap around porch outside, you'll be just as cozy in the spacious dining room. See what wonderful treats are coming out of the kitchen!

Have a seat in our lovely custom kitchen and watch Anita and Karsten prepare a delicious afternoon tea or grab a piece of fruit before you head to the beach.
